Embassy of India, Baku in collaboration with the Hindi Language and Culture Center of the Azerbaijan University of Languages (AUL) organized a seminar at the AUL under a project titled “India As It Is” on April 14 at 11 am. AUL Vice-Rector Ms Jala Garibova, Second Secretary of the Embassy of India Mr Ajay Kumar Pandey, and Ms Saida Mirzayeva, Director of the Hindi Language and Culture Center spoke on Indian literature and philosophy at the opening ceremony. AUL head lecturer Ms Sevda Abuzarli spoke on Vedas and Upanishads, while Mr Ramil Aliyev explained Karma to the audience. Several Indian and Azerbaijani dances were also performed at the event. The event was also attended by other senior dignitaries and students of AUL.
