As part of the on-going celebrations of the 550th Birth Anniversary of Guru Nanak Devji, Embassy of India, Baku, organized an event on 16 April 2019. Addressing the guests, Ambassador Shri B. Vanlalvawna outlined the decisions taken by Government of India on the occasion, such as, development of Kartarpur Sahib corridor; development of Sultanpur Lodhi; setting up Chairs on Shri Guru Nanak Devji in Universities; issuance of commemorative coin and postage stamps on Guru Nanak Devji. Giving his keynote speech, the guest of honour Sri Satguru Dalip Singh Ji shared the noble teachings of Guru Nanak Devji of love, equality and fraternity and the relevance of his teachings in the present world.
