Gujarat has witnessed unprecedented growth in terms of investments, both FDI and domestic. With a vision to give additional thrust to “Atmanirbhar Bharat”, the New Gujarat Industrial Policy 2020 is being introduced with added focus on key thrust sectors, strengthening integrated value chains, innovation and research. Besides this, the Gujarat Industrial Policy has provisions to promote industries focusing to adopt sustainable & cleaner manufacturing and innovative Industry 4.0 practices. It also lays objective to encourage entrepreneurship and strengthen MSMEs and facilitate cluster development.
