The Embassy of India, Baku is pleased to announce that the Indian Council for Cultural Relations (ICCR), New Delhi has offered scholarship to a meritorious student under General Scholarship Scheme (GSS) for the Academic year 2021-22 in under graduate (Bachelors Degree), Masters Degree or Doctoral Programme (except medical courses and studies related to medicine) under ICCR’s General Scholarship Scheme(GSS) for the year 2021-22. The selected candidate will be provided a scholarship package to cover tuition/college fees and a part of the cost of boarding & lodging in India for the duration of studies/research work in a recognized Indian University or higher educational institution. For science courses, the expenditure on laboratory chemicals and other incidental charges would be borne by the selected student. The cost of air travel from Baku to India & return, however, is to be borne by the selected student.
2. Interested candidates, with good knowledge of English, may apply for either Bachelor’s degree or Master’s Degree in any field of study except medical/paramedical/ fashion courses. For science courses, the expenditure on laboratory chemicals and other incidental charges will have to be borne by the applicants. The applicant must be between 18 and 30 years old. Last date of submission of application is 23.04.2021.
3. Interested students from Azerbaijan may visit the ICCR’s A2A (Admissions to alumni) Scholarship Portal at website http://a2ascholarships.iccr.gov.in for registration, eligibility criteria and detailed information on various fields of study/research offered by the higher educational institutions in India.
